To connect this product to central heating you will require angled or straight valves as an additional purchase.

In some of the product photos there are black caps on the ends of the vertical pipes. These are for protection in transport and are removed on installation. Wall mounting kits may not be displayed in the photos, but are included with the product.

Manufacturing

The Snowdon range of products are assembled using purpose built machinery and are welded automatically in a custom built furnace. This continuous process ensures weld quality is of the highest standard, with every towel rail being polished by hand,  before plating, to ensure a perfect finish.

Powder Coating ( Specification / Process )

Powder coating is a type of coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. The main difference between a conventional liquid paint and a powder coating is that the powder coating does not require a solvent to keep the binder and filler parts in a liquid suspension form. The coating is typically applied electrostatically and is then cured under heat to allow it to flow and form a "skin." The powder may be thermoplastic or a thermoset polymer. It is usually used to create a hard finish that is tougher than conventional paint. Powder coating is an ideal solution if your preference is for a painted finish. It also has the added advantage of having an increased heat output, when compared with the chrome version.

• Every towel rail produced, is pressure tested four times at 13 bar at different stages of manufacture, thus ensuring the highest quality is maintained.

• To ensure our products have the highest standard of chrome plating they have been life tested at Henkel with salt spray, with a conclusion and that our towel rails have a great resistance to corrosion.
