Don’t Settle For A Boring Radiator

Don’t Settle For A Boring Radiator

Due to advancements in technology, the stereotypical boxy radiator is not the only option when it comes to buying a new radiator. Radiators now come in various shapes and sizes, with a myriad of colour choices.

Choose A Radiator That Goes With Your Room

Believe it or not, radiators do take up quite a bit of space in your room. Have a look at the rooms in your house and I’m sure you will begin to notice it. With this in mind, it is important to pick a radiator (or radiators) that you like the look of. Some radiators suit some rooms better than others. It is a good idea to have a look at the wall space in your room and decide on an ideal colour, size and shape that will go with the overall colour scheme you are striving for.

Vertical or Horizontal?

If you have very little horizontal space, a vertical radiator is a good way to save space. Many vertical radiators now come in stylish and attractive designs, and can become part of the theme and décor of your room. A vertical radiator also saves horizontal space, meaning more room for your furniture.

A horizontal radiator gives you a classic, more traditional orientation. Due to its more low profile look, these are ideal for fitting in tighter spaces such as under a window or a smaller wall and also free up the upper spaces of your wall simultaneously. Horizontal radiators can also provide more heat in comparison to a vertical radiator as they can be built to be quite wide, meaning an increased surface area, and therefore more heat.

Choose A Colour That Goes With Your Room

Radiators don’t just come in White anymore, there a number of colours that you can choose when it comes to choosing your radiator’s finish. Although it gives out slightly less heat, a Chrome radiator offers a unique, gleaming, shining, almost mirror like finish. An Anthracite finish will give you a sleek, modern look and goes great on our range of Aluminium Radiators. A Black finish goes perfect in modern bathrooms or in lower light rooms, helping set the vibe as well as brining warmth. A Stainless Steel or Bare Metal finish are perfect if you are going for a more industrial look, adding some edge and character to your room
